Fox Valley area of Illinois home prices November 22nd.  It is cloudy and 48 degrees right now.  This next week we should see highs between 33-56 degrees and lows between 22-45 degrees.  Almost all the leaves are down and it now gets dark at 5 pm.  I am still getting used to this.

New listings are down slightly.  142 this week compared to 152 the previous week.

Closed listings are up.  199 this week compared to 162 the previous week.

Seller’s accepted contracts that are contingent on the buyer closing on their current home.  2 with a kick-out clause of 72 hours, 4 with 48 hours, and 1 with 24 hours.

Also, seller’s accepted contracts that are contingent on the buyer selling and closing on their current home.  5 with a kick-out clause of 72 hours, 5 with 48 hours, and 2 with 24 hours.

That is only 19 out of 158 homes that went under contract that had some kind of home contingency.
