Fox Valley area of Illinois home prices December 6th.  It is 32 degrees right now and cloudy.  This next week we should see highs from 14-38 degrees and lows from 0-30 degrees.

New listings this week are up.  120 this week compared to 81 the previous week.

Closed listings are also up.  188 this week compared to 149 the previous week.

That is the difference in a holiday week.

What does all this mean? 

New listings are starting to slow down.   They usually do this time of year.

Seller’s are still choosing conventional financing the most.  It is hard to get a FHA offer through. 

Prices are fluctuating a little but prices are not going down in our area like other parts of the country.

Homes are staying on the market a little bit longer than they were.

If you are priced right and in good condition you will still see a contract sooner than one that is not market ready.
